This hotel was a perfect fit for a mini-break over the weekend in Philadelphia with good value. The restaurant downstairs had amazing food and service. Make sure to try out their dining options when you stay.

Valet parking makes managing your vehicle a breeze, though it does come at a fine price of $43 plus tax, which felt like highway robbery. I particularly enjoyed the comfy and accommodating rooms, equipped with updated technology and wide variety of pillows for a good night's rest.

Check-in felt overpriced for what was delivered. managing room entry became a frustrating adventure as it often took multiple attempts to unlock the door. While my room seemed tidy, the carpet revealed some unwelcome surprises, like a leftover toenail from a previous guest, indicating a possible lapse in the cleaning department. Sounds from nearby happenings disrupted the peace more than once, making it less than ideal for catching a solid night's sleep.

I had such a comforting stay here, right next to the University of Pennsylvania. The staff were genuinely engaged and made us feel welcomed from the moment we checked in. The room was spacious and clean, and I especially appreciated the modern amenities, including the in-room tablet for easy service requests. Improvements could be made in the reactive approach of the management when handling minor issues, but overall, it was a lovely visit.
